Our beautiful indoor and outdoor settings can accommodate your special day!
Anyone may have a wedding in our facility. Unity has long supported the commitment of our LGBT members’ relationships by offering Holy Union ceremonies. With the changes in the marriage laws, we are now pleased to offer full, legal wedding ceremonies.
Following is more detailed information to help you plan:
We are here to help alleviate any concerns you may have about your wedding day. Services are tailored by our senior minister to honor each couple and their individual stories and relationships.
Couples may also write their own services and/or vows or bring in their own officiant.
We do not have set times for our wedding services or rehearsals. It will only depend upon availability on our calendar and that of our minister (if you choose to engage her for the ceremony).
Photography & Florist:
You are welcome to use a photographer prior to, during, and after the service. You may also arrange to have a florist of your choice.
We have an excellent sound system in our sanctuary and are very willing to work with you if you prefer to have live music during your ceremony.
Sanctuary – our main sanctuary comfortably seats up to 120 people. There is a raised (2-step) platform with room for candelabras, unity candle (or other sacred ritual) tables, flowers, and the bridal party. We have a grand piano available and can also schedule our sound technician (subject to his availability) to assist with playing recorded music of your choice at your ceremony and manage any other sound needs.
Outdoor Labyrinth – our Sacred Steps Labyrinth, nestled in a wooded area, is available for parties not to exceed 50-60 people.
Outdoor Amphitheater – our Crescent Woods Amphitheater, surrounded by trees with seating built into the hillside, is available for parties not to exceed 65-70 people.
Parking – there are 85 available parking spaces on the campus grounds. There is a circular drive that allows for ease of access for the bridal party, vendors, and guests.
Reception and Dinner Facilities - Our Fellowship Hall seats up to 40 people for a sit-down dinner. You are welcome to bring your own food or utilize the services of a caterer. There is a kitchen adjacent to the hall with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and commercial coffee maker.
Alcohol may be served with some restrictions.
